Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams

 This was the trademark signoff of Robin Leach’s 1980’s through 1990’s TV show about excess called “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.”  This highly successful program allowed viewers to live vicariously through interviews Leach did with Hollywood movie stars, dukes and duchesses, and wildly rich and successful business icons. Robin’s catchphrase, “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams!” which was his way of saying “while you mere mortals will never live like this, isn’t if fun to at least fantasize about it?”
