For those of you who took up last week’s challenge of identifying the country of origin of the ten cookies, here are the answers.

For left to right:

Line 1:

Biscotti: Italy

Bruti ma buoni: Italy

Toasted almond snowballs: America (I topped them with chocolate instead of Confectioners’ sugar!)

Line 2:

Sablés: France

Pfefferneusse: Germany

Semolina cookies: Morocco

Speculaas: Belgium (in plaid tin)

Line 3:

Sablés: France (I made two versions with red and green sprinkles)

Fudgy Bourbon balls: America

Line 4:

Rugelach: Israel

Sugar cookies: America (in green Tupper wear container)
